About Us

Ellen Zhang L. Ac. is the Founder and Clinical Director of Summit Acupuncture & Herbs. Raised in Chongqing, China, Ellen grew up around Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a family clinic legacy of more than 30 years. Before founding Summit, she earned an MBA and worked in corporate America, but ultimately returned to the medicine that shaped her earliest understanding of healing.

At Summit, Ellen has built a clinic centered on careful listening, thoughtful diagnosis, and individualized care. She specializes in pain relief, fertility support, women’s health, digestive health, and sleep support, combining acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, Gua Sha/IASTM, and lifestyle guidance to help patients feel better, recover naturally, and rebuild trust in their bodies.

Abbey is a responsible, detail-oriented and dependable team member whose patience and positive attitude help patients feel welcomed and supported and brings a calm and organized presence to the clinic. 

Abbey is studying Molecular Cell Biology/Physiology at California State University, Long Beach. She is interested in holistic medicine and how TCM can complement Western care.
