Meet Ellen Zhang, L.Ac, Founder of Summit Acupuncture & Herbs

I’m a California-licensed acupuncturist specializing in pain relief, fertility, digestive health, and sleep disorders. My journey with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began in my hometown of Chongqing, China, where I grew up as an athlete. Years of swimming and basketball introduced me to the transformative power of acupuncture and herbal formulas, sparking my passion for holistic healing.

My parents own a TCM clinic in China, serving their local community for over 30 years. Now, I’ve brought this legacy to Tustin, Orange County, to continue the tradition of healing.

After earning my MBA and working in Fortune 500 companies, I faced struggles with anxiety, insomnia, and depression. Acupuncture was my turning point, restoring my well-being and deepening my commitment to holistic health. I went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from South Baylo University in Los Angeles, where I was recognized for both clinical excellence and academic achievement. 

At Summit Acupuncture & Herbs, I combine years of practice with a patient-first approach to provide exceptional care. My treatments include acupuncture, cupping, herbal formulas, and Gua Sha/IASTM, all customized to restore balance, relieve pain, and support long-term health.
